摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a surface frictional coefficient arithmetic device capable of determining the frictional coefficient required for providing a target slip ratio as one to a desired wheel in an optimum period. CONSTITUTION:A wheel speed is determined by a wheel speed arithmetic circuit 32a from the output of a driven wheel rotating speed detecting sensor 18, a wheel acceleration and deceleration is determined by a wheel acceleration and deceleration arithmetic circuit 36a, and a slip ratio is determined from the car body acceleration and deceleration based on the output of a car body acceleration and deceleration detecting sensor 22 and the wheel speed by a slip ratio arithmetic circuit. The wheel acceleration and deceleration and the slip ratio are set to satisfy determined conditions, whereby a gate signal is outputted, and according to the gate signal, the surface frictional coefficient on driven wheel side is determined from the car body acceleration and deceleration and the slip ratio on driving wheel side. Similarly, the surface frictional coefficient on driving wheel side is also determined.
