发明名称 IMAGE RECEIVING MEDIUM FOR SUBLIMATION TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain clear images having high density without generating wrinkles on a transfer record medium at a low cost by providing on a transparent substrate a mold release agent layer having a thickness of 0.01-2mum formed out of mold release agent of polyester denatured silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving medium is constituted of a mold release agent layer B containing mold release agent as a principal component layered on an image receiving substrate A having dyeing property. Heat sublimation dye sublimates and diffuses from a dyeing transfer layer 4 of a sublimation transfer record medium due to heat of a thermal head 1, and is transferred to the image receiving medium, so that the sublimation dye diffuses in the image receiving substrate A for dyeing. The transparent substrate A of the image receiving medium is made of a transparent film having high dyeing property and heat resistance of the heat sublimating dye, whose crystallinity is lowered by solvent treatment. For the mold release agent forming the mold release agent layer B, polyester denatured silicone resin, with which friction coefficient of the transfer record medium and the image receiving medium is appropriate and wrinkles do not occur on the transfer record medium at recording, is used. The transparent substrate A is coated with solvent for the mold release agent layer and dried so as to form a mold release agent layer B having a thickness of 0.01-2mum.
