PURPOSE:To obtain a high vibration proofing effect by supporting an equipment mounting frame on a support member such as a floor with a sliding means, providing a vertical vibration absorbing damper between this support member and the frame, and providing an attitude control means moved horizontally symmetrically in conjunction with the vertical vibration. CONSTITUTION:A vibration isolator is inserted between a frame 2 mounted with a protected equipment or the like and a support body such as a frame 1 vibrated by external vibration and protects the various precise protected equipment against vertical vibration such as an earthquake. In this case, a vertical sliding means constituted of a spline shaft 3 and a ball spline 4 is provided. A support means such as a coil spring 6 supporting the tare weight of an object mounted on a vertical vibration isolator and a vibration absorbing means such as a vibration absorbing damper 5 absorbing vertical vibration to an optional value are provided. Furthermore, an attitude control device 7 controlled horizontally symmetrically in conjunction with vertical vibration to keep the protected equipment horizontal is provided. |
