GENE OR DNA FRAGMENT DERIVED FROM HEPATITIS C VIRUS, POLYPEPTIDE CODED BY THE SAME AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a new gene useful for production of a peptide having HCV antigenicity. CONSTITUTION:A-gene coding to a polypeptide derived from hepatitis C virus of amino acid sequence of the formula. A nucleic acid is extracted from a serum of a hepatitis C patient and made to react with a reverse transcriptase using the virus RNA as a template and the objective DNA fragment is obtained by PCR method using the resultant first-chain complementary chain DNA as a template.
