<p>The invention relates to the field of vane pumps. The vane pump according to the invention, including a body (1) forming a stator connected to the intake (7) and delivery (8) ducts, in which is located an off-centred rotor (3) equipped with housings (5) for the solid radial vanes (6) and mounted on a drive shaft (4), is essentially characterised in that the rotor constitutes a blind socket on the shaft, equipped with a seal with respect to the latter at the opposite end from the blind part of the socket, whereas a cover mounted on the body, on the blind side of the rotor, comprises an internal circular cavity (19) concentric with the rotor and a passage (20) emerging, on the one hand, in the delivery and, on the other hand, in the said cavity.
