PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a product of an outdoor unit for a separate type air conditioner and to simplify the structure of the product. CONSTITUTION:A box of an outdoor unit 101 is formed of a front panel 110 integrally molded at a front side of a product and a ceiling surface by a metal plate, a fan motor fastening plate 1 in the unit 101 to support the panel 110, and a resin net 2 at a left side surface and rear surface of the product. The panel 110 is clamped at the plate 1 with screws. Further a retaining piece 1a formed in a U-shaped section is provided at an upper end of the plate 1, an upper end of a heat exchanger 103 is enclosed with the piece 1a, and clamped at a lower part to a board of the product with four screws. Thus, a strength of the product can be sufficiently obtained by the plate 1 and the panel 110. |
