PURPOSE:To constitute the microscope in such a manner that the microscope is brought to a position not hindering an observer cooperatively with the movement of an endoscope to its use position in the case of combination use of the microscope and the endoscope. CONSTITUTION:This microscope has a means 11 for cooperatively bringing the other to the position not hindering the observer when either one of the microscope (first observation optical system) 5 and the endoscope (second observation optical system) 9 is brought to the use position, a means for detecting which of the observation optical systems exists in the use position and selecting means 23, 24 which act to introduce illuminating light to the observation optical system existing in the use position from a common light source device 27 by the output from this detecting means. |
