摘要 PURPOSE:To perform right/left wheel torque distribution control to generate vehicle action matching a demand of a driver or a running condition by provid ing a joint control means to control torque transmission characteristics of both input/output rotation difference sensitive joints so that right/left wheel drive torques are transmitted from a power source to right/left wheels. CONSTITUTION:A torque distribution device 8 distributes and outputs power from a common power source to right and left wheels through respective input/ output rotation difference sensitive joints 10L, 10R. At this time, an objective yaw moment computation means 35 calculates a desired yaw moment of a vehicle based on a steering mode of the vehicle detected by a steering mode detection means 36. A right/left wheel drive torque computation means 35 calculates right/left wheel torques to generate the desired yaw moment based on an input torque to both joints 10L, 10R detected by a desired yaw moment/ joint input torque detection means 45. A joint control means 35 controls torque transmission characteristics of both input/output rotation difference sensitive joints so that the right/left wheel drive torques are transmitted from the power source to the right/left wheels.
