<p>PURPOSE:To provide a bag body for an air bag device and its manufacture in which high strength is ensured by a simple structure and the manufacture is facilitated at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A strap 34 is sewn on the interior of a bag body 20 consisting of upper and lower clothes 22, 24. The strap 34 is sewn alternately on the upper and lower clothes 22, 24 to partition the interior of the bag body 20 and form widthwise expansion chambers 46, 48, 50, 52 and 54 communicating to each other through communication holes 56, 58, 60 and 62. Thus, high strength is ensured in the bag body which can be manufactured with a series of simple operations and low cost by sewing the upper and lower cloths 22, 24 and strap 34 sequentially from one end to the other.</p> |
