PURPOSE:To enlarge an opening area of the bathtub, and to execute draining, etc., at a high speed by forming a feed water/drain hole like a slit extending from the bottom face to the side face in a bathing space of the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:In a bathtub main body 1, a bathing space 1a is formed like a hollow, and in the center part in the longitudinal direction of the bathing space 1a, a feed water/drain hole 2 is formed like a slit. This feed water/drain hole is formed in a wide range extending from the bottom face to the side face of the pathing space 1a. On the upper face of a bent pipe 7 arranged on the bottom side of this feed water/drain hole 2, many small holes 7a, 7a are formed, and to the center part of the bent pipe 7, a drain pipe 9 and a feed water pipe 8 are connected. In such a state, at the time of bathing, hot water is allowed to pass through into the bent pipe 7 from a storage tank 5 through the feed water pipe 8 from a pump 4, the hot water is poured into the bathing space 1a at a high speed from the feed water/drain port 2, and also, in accordance with necessity, the hot water is returned to the storage tank 5 side, etc., and in such a way, the inside of the bathtub main body is used for multi-purpose. In this case, feed water and draining can be executed into and from the bathing space at a high speed. |
