A non-stick coating for surfaces such as those of cooking utensils, comprising a combination of a quasi-crystalline alloy base (2) forming a grid with a lower surface fully adhered to a matrix (1), and an upper surface having a specific porosity, and a PTFE-type polymer filling in the pores (6). A method for producing said coating, and the resulting surfaces, are also disclosed. The coating may be used in cooking, heat exchanging and tribology.
