摘要

The sequential scanning interpolation circuit for an image signal includes an interpolation output means for detecting a plane correlation degree of symmetric pixel pairs in the orthogonal direction of upper and lower lines, a band-pass filtering means for passing only one fourth frequency component of the sampling frequency of an image signal, an output coefficient means for generating a coefficient in accordance with the magnitude of the frequency component passing the band-pass filtering means; and a mixing means for mixing the average of the symmetric pixel pairs and the average of the upper and lower pixels according to the coefficient generated from the output coefficient means, thereby minimizing errors in line interpolation.
