The invention relates to a curving device, especially for seat backs, for an elastic curving component (5) movably arranged on a guide (3) fitted in a frame (1), which can be curved by means of at least one tensioning device by an adjuster (18, 35). According to the invention, the curving component (5) is adjustable in height on the guide (3) by means of a device (26) with an adjuster (18, 34). The adjusters (18, 34, 35) are arranged adjacently on shafts lying one within the other for the height adjustment and the tensioning device of the curving component (5) or there is a single adjuster (18) movable into two engagement positions for the height adjustment and the tensioning device. Between the adjusters (18, 34, 35) and the tensioning device or the height adjustment device there is a freewheel brake (17). |
