<p>A reconfigurable frequency selective surface comprises at least two arrays (1, 2) of elements (3), the arrays (1, 2) being arranged in close proximity with one another so that elements (3) of a first array (9) are closely coupled with elements (3) of a second array (2) adjacent to the first array (1).
