<p>The method according to the invention is intended for use in shotgun shooting or the like, whereby a shot of pellets or the like is fired by a shotgun or the like particularly at a moving target. Thus the dispersion pattern of pellets discharged from the barrel of the shotgun is affected by an arrangement operating essentially in connection with the barrel. The first control means of the arrangement are used to increase accuracy by a dispersion pattern (2) extended in one direction (s), such as one formed elliptical or the like. The position (I, II) of the dispersion pattern is changed during shooting by second control means of the arrangement at least in relation to the shotgun body essentially according to the direction (p) of movement of the target or accordingly.
