摘要 The layered material with a sintered and porous carrier layer and a thermo-kinetic cladding for the solid function layer, has a bonding layer (4) between the carrier (2) and function (3) layers, of a material which bonds the layers (2,3) together through the energy developed in the cladding action. Also claimed is a mfg. process where the function layer is placed over the particles of the carrier layer to be sintered, of a material which bonds with them at a suitable temp. and kinetic energy. The outer surface of the particles layer is softened to form a solid bonding layer so that it is forced in to the carrier layer when kinetic energy is applied. The carrier layer (2) is of sintered metal with emergency running characteristics and the function layer (3) is a sliding metal material. The bonding layer (4) is a common fusion of the materials of both layers (2,3). The components of the layers (2,3) layer which do not melt and/or melt at high temp. are dispersed to lie within the bonding layer (4). The components of the layers (2,3) which cannot be separated and mixed when melted are deposited within the bonding layer (4), as fine particles of a dispersion alloy. Where the carrier layer (2) is of tin bronze and the function layer (3) is an aluminium lead dispersion alloy, the bonding layer (4) contains a solid aluminium copper base alloy. USE/ADVANTAGE - The material, such as for sliding components, can be a aluminium or alloy cladding on a porous carrier layer, with an effective bonding between the layers.
