The machine tool finishes the pipe ends in a single step, providing simultaneous inner and outer pipe end grinding. It also prepares the welding seam by advanced turning, but the machining steps, i.e. grinding and turning, can also be carried out separately. The mounting of the machining units is strictly parallel, excluding tilting of the respective tools. The tool compression for guiding is adjustable. The tooling unit is driven by a motor via a transmission. USE/ADVANTAGE - For pretreatment in pipeline welding, without any grinding inequalities, but with high work rate.
