The clamping part (9) of the chamfering drill merges into a stem with a cutting portion with a front and longitudinal edge. The clamping part consists of an off-axis sleeve (8) and a clamping stub (7) adjustably and rotatably mounted in the sleeve. The sleeve outer clamping face (11) is eccentric w.r.t. its inner space (10). The sleeve has a position marking and the adjacent part of the clamping stub has a position counter-marking (14) for determining the mutual twist angle of the two. USE/ADVANTAGE - For pretreatment of hole prior to finishing, with increased work rate and high quality.
