Strip edge flash removal - has profiled tilting and separation rollers pointing up and down for simultaneous flash removal from strips only at the cut edges

The assembly for the simultaneous flash removal of the longitudinal edges of a number of strips has a strip tilting and sepg. roller (2) with different profiles (3',3") from its mean dia. (D) for two neighbouring strips flanking the guides and between them in the direction of travel. The assembly has another opposing profile (3) roller with a further guide between the rollers (2). The working sections of the active stations are over and under the strips. The rollers (2) are pref. positioned in relation to each other where one has the smaller dia. (3') over the larger (3") and the next roller is inverted, to reverse the profile (3). A complementary pressure roller acts with each profiled roller (2). USE/AVANTAGE - The assembly is for trimming the flash from strip materials which have been cut along their length in a simple operation where only the edges with flash are worked and the uncut edges are left.
