The cover (3) is held in position on the folding roof linkage by at least one holding member (4), to which is sewn an adhesive tape (5). The latter is coupled to the inside (6) of the folding roof cover. Pref. the adhesive tape coupling to outer folding roof cover is carried out by hot melt gluing. The adhesive tape is typically fitted between the cover and the holding member, with the lattice sewn to th adhesive tape middle region.
