Two beams (1,2) oscillating in parallel planes are joined by respective pairs of V-shaped spring elements (3,4;7,8) to fixtures (5,6) screwed to the casing of the appts. Fixing blocks (11,12) on the undersides of the beams are hinged (13,14) to push-rods (15,16) coupled together (19) to a connecting-rod (21) from a motor-driven eccentric disc. A gap (28) separates the two beams which oscillate continuously as the push-rods slide and rotate between one limit position (depicted by full lines) and the other (by dotted lines). ADVANTAGE - Simple structure allows straight-line reciprocated without transverse offset of elements or tool components in parallel planes.
