PURPOSE:To change the way of deposition of toner on paper, make sufficient use of the effect of pressure and improve the fixability of toner images by finely dividing the unfixed toner images formed on a recording sheet. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is evenly charged by a charging Corotron 2. A half tone screen 4 is placed on a transparent original platen 3 and further the original 5 is placed thereon and is exposed by a lamp 6 so that the electrostatic latent images of the halftone image parts are formed on the photoreceptor 1. The electrostatic latent images are then developed by the pressure fixing toner in a developing device 7, whereby the visible images of the halftone image parts are obtained. The visible images are then transferred to transfer paper 9 by a transfer Corotron 8 and are fixed by a pressure fixing device 10. At this time, the unfixed images on the transfer paper are such that their image parts are divided to halftone form and when pressure is received by the pressure fixing device 10, the toner in the halftone parts spreads even to the portions of the image parts where there is no toner, thus the good copy is obtained. |
