The electrical switch has a pair of contacts (2, 3) that are set into a moulded body of insulating material. A fixed contact (22) has a connection embedded in the body. A spring contact arm (32) projects from a formed section (33) set into the body at the other end. A profiled groove (4) is formed to provide a retaining location for the end of the spring contact carrier arm. A rib (4d) prevents undue damage to the contact in operation.
