Plank-loading system into continuous gluing machine - delivers sideways and deflects downwards from flat position for subsequent positioning edgewise or lying flat

The system loads a continuous seam-gluing machine, the planks being mounted edgewise or lying flat as desired. The planks (5) are delivered lying flat above the path in which the press-slide (4) works, and are then transported sideways. The planks are deflected obliquely downwards from the horizontal conveyor surface to the inlet end of the machine table (2). Here they are either tilted by the press-slide into the edgewise position, or turned so as to lie flat as they are thrust into the machine. This can be done by a force applied to the plank leading edge, e.g. by a conveyor. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, low cost, and rapid loading of planks into continuous gluing machine.
