Appts. for filtering liq. or gaseous media, esp. hydraulic oil, has parallel-connected coarse and fine filters, in which the fine filter is preceded by a flow regulating valve which restricts the volumetric flow of the medium through the fine filter to a predetermiend value. ADVANTAGE - The fine filter is protected against pressure peaks.
