This relates to preparation of Ziegler-Natta catalyst for HDPE and LLDPE polymerization and polymerizing the product by using the activated catalyst. The synthesis method comprises: reacting magnesium compd., halogen compd., and titanium compd. (TiCl4) with electron donating compd. to obtain a homogeneous solution (A); adding and mixing detergent (C); adding C5-8 aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon as precipitation agent and precipitating the homogeneous catalyst particle; filtering and drying; and activating the catalyst with organic aluminium. When polymerizing ethylene or C4-8 olefin with this activated catalyst, ethylene polymer is produced, which is homogeneously granular with its density of 0.921-0.927.
