2.1. The aim is to prepare recyclates having improved material properties from plastic scrap (waste) from household (domestic) refuse (garbage), the treatment of cable scrap or the treatment of electrical equipment scrap. 2.2. The problem is solved by homogenisation of the plastic scrap comprising a variety of plastics in the melt, unsaturated monomers in amounts from 0.2 to 10 % by weight and free-radical initiators being metered into the plastic melt. 2.3. Recyclates can be employed for production of plastic semifinished products and moulded materials.
