The fastener has a base (1) in which a disc (2) moves along a longitudinal axle (11) in the base to release a hook (3). The disc is returned to its initial position by a spring (12), round the axle. A curved piece (5) at the end of the necklace has a hole which engages on the hook. The disc is held between the lateral walls of the base. It has a ring under its lower surface which holds the axle and against which the spring presses. In its initial position the disc closes the hook, to hold the curved piece.
