The pin iside the root of the tooth is designed for therepair of greatly damaged devitalized teeth. It facilitates the counteraction against rotational and torsional forces established during their functioning. It consists of a crown (1) and root (2) parts connected into an integral body, the crown part (1) having bilaterally positioned ribs (4) of treducing lengths in the direction of the crown tip. The body of the pin has rectangular or oval section having two walls (5) parallel along its entire length and it the area of the crown part (2) - two wedgetype indented walls (6). The thickness (b) of the wedgetype walls (5) and the ribs (4) is smaller than the width (c) of the parallel walls (5) in the base (3).
