TRANSPORTATION CONTAINER WITH HOPPER BOTTOM DISCHARGE A transport container for particulate material includes a pair of hoppers arranged end to end and mounted on a frame structure for carrying upon a truck frame. The frame structure includes a pair of rails extending longitudinally at a width equal to the width of the truck frame and thus narrower than the upper part of the hoppers. Each hopper includes a hopper bottom converging to an apex and an auger discharge arrangement projecting from the apex upwardly through the interior of the hopper and breaking out through a cover of the hopper. The hopper is arranged asymmetrically so that the apex is spaced from a centre line of the hopper and from one side wall of the hopper to a position directly overlying one of the longitudinal rails of the frame. At the apex is provided a discharge opening with a sliding door, the opening allowing the material to be discharged over the side rail downwardly toward the ground for collection. A chute separate from the hopper wall can be attached onto the side wall at the discharge opening for controlling discharge for example to an auger hopper.
