<p>The extension element (22) of the invention is provided for a casing consisting of a base (10) and a cover (11). The extension element (22) is intended to be inserted between the base (10) and the cover (11) and includes, on a first of its parts, which is located on the same side as the base (10), a fastening means (25) intended to interact with the fastening means (19) of the base (10) and, on the second of its parts, which is located on the same side as the cover (11), a fastening means (26) intended to interact with the fastening means (20) of the cover.
