PURPOSE:To enhance storage stability, developed color density and color forming sensitivity by adding terpene diphenol and a fine granular copolymer of alpha-olefin, maleic anhydride and maleimide or N-substituted derivative thereof as a developing compd. CONSTITUTION:As a developer constituting a thermal color forming layer along with a color forming compd. such as 2-anilin-3-methyl-6-diethylaminofluorane, terpene diphenol is added and, further, a fine granular copolymer of alpha-olefin, maleic anhydride and maleimide or an N-substituted derivative thereof is added. In this case, the wt. ratio of terpene diphenol is about 2:1-1:10 with respect to the color forming compd. and the copolymer is added to a thermal recording material in an amount of about 1-50wt.% and has a particle size of about 10mum or less. The compositional ratio of alpha-olefin, maleic anhydride and maleimide or an N-substituted derivative thereof is pref. about 1:1-3:1. |
