摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a base film hard to generate shaving in a process for processing the base film into a magnetic recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A laminated polyester film for a magnetic recording medium is obtained by laminating a film composed of an ethylene/2,6-naphthalate copolymer copolymerized with 0.5-7mol% of a 2,7-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid component on at least the single surface of a biaxially oriented polyethylene-2,6- naphthalate film.
