PURPOSE:To utilize heat energy dissipated from a control section effectively by transmitting the heat generated in a printer control section to a roll paper holder by means of a fan. CONSTITUTION:A thermal paper 3 fed from a roll paper 2 on a roll paper holder 1 is drawn from a drawing section 5 into a printer section 4 and ejected by an ejection section 6. During the period, printing is carried out by heat energy in a thermal head 7. The heat energy from the thermal head 7 is controlled by a printer control section 10 based on the temperature of the thermal paper 3 measured by a temperature sensor 8 mounted on the position of the thermal head 7. The head of the temperature control section 10 generated at that time is transmitted into a roll paper holder 1 by a fan 9, and the roll paper 2 is heated. The temperature of the thermal paper 3 to be fed, therefore, rises and the energy applied to the thermal had 7 can be lowered. |
