SAFETY DEVICE FOR LASER PRINTER

PURPOSE:To cut off power source of laser without fail by detection by an operator that a door is opened. CONSTITUTION:A safety device of a laser printer comprises a double switch 1, a flip flop 2 for temporarily storing a state of one switch 1a of the switch 1, and a shift register 7 for delaying a state of other switch 1b of the switch 1. There is also provided an opening/closing device 4 which opens and closes by output of the flip flop 2.
