PURPOSE:To eliminate malfunction of a signal light emitted from an adaptor due to its return light by adding parity data to a transmission signal and differentiating the parity data between a product side and a check device side. CONSTITUTION:Let a signal from a check device side be an odd number parity signal, then a parity check circuit 42 of a signal reception section discriminates the signal to be normal when the parity of inputted signals 43, 44 is an odd number. Then the signal 43 from an optical input output interface circuit 45 is outputted to an input output interface circuit 40. When the optical communication adaptor 20 moves on a production line and the signal from the check device is not received, the return of the signal light emitted from the adaptor is detected. When the parity of the input signal is an even parity signal, the circuit 42 does not discriminate it to be a normal signal and the data are not sent to the circuit 40. Thus, malfunction due to an erroneous signal is not caused. |
