PURPOSE:To limit illegal access by storing a telephone number given when the terminal equipment is connected to a telephone network line, reading and dialing the stored telephone number and stopping the use of the terminal equipment when not busy. CONSTITUTION:When an illegal use check is started, a CPU 70 confirms whether or not a telephone number is stored in a hard disk 30. When not stored, the entry of a telephone number is urged and the entered telephone number is stored in the disk 30. Then the CPU 70 connects to a telephone network line 80 through a MODEM 50 by an NCU 40 and the telephone number stored in the disk 30 is read and the telephone number is dialed by the NCU 40. Then the CPU 70 discriminates the connection state by the NCU 40. When busy, the installed position of an on-line terminal equipment 100 is discriminated to be moved illegally. On the other hand, when not busy, it is discriminated that the install location is moved and the telephone number is changed and the CPU 70 allows the NCU 40 to interrupt the line 80 from the terminal equipment 100. |
