PURPOSE:To position jacks and a circuit board without use of a mounting jig by providing hooked arms on an insulator comprising a connector and fitting them into notches or penetration holes of the circuit board. CONSTITUTION:Hooked arms 51b are formed on both edge faces 51a of the insulator 51 of a jack connector 5 and rectangular recessed parts 51c whose depth is more than the thickness of a circuit board 6 are formed on the circuit board attaching side in edge areas of the arms 51b. And key-shaped hooks 51e are formed on projections 51d and edges 51c'' projecting from the edges 51c' of the recessed parts 51c. Notches 6b are formed on the substrate 6 and when the substrate 6 positioned by the projections 51d is moved rotationally in the direction shown by the arrow I with an edge side 6a allowed to abut against 51c', the hooks 51e are fitted into the notches 6b. Thus the connector is joined with the circuit board surely without use of a jig for positioning so that productivity is improved.
