PURPOSE:To realize highly efficient use of waveform recording memory in a digital fault supervisory recorder for power system. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 2 for controlling writing of waveform data into a memory circuit 1 for recording sampling waveform is provided with a timer T which is started upon the occurrence of a starting factor. Upon time-up of the timer T when the sampling waveform is smooth, sampling frequency is altered from high to low rate thus reducing the number of sampling data and altering the sampling time depending on the input waveform. |
