PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductive belt having no seam and fold and having a uniform volume resistivity by setting the volume resistivities at different parts within the belt formed from a tubular film obtained by extruding an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer containing a conductive filler from an annular die. CONSTITUTION:A material composed of an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and/or an ethylene/trifluorochloroethylene copolymer containing a conductive filler is extruded into a tubular shape, and the tube is cut into pieces of a predetermined length to form seamless belts. Volume resistivity varies from 10<5> to 10<17>OMEGAcm at different points within the belt. The max. volume resistivity shall be less than 100 times the min. resistivity. This seamless semiconductive belt is excellent in electrical characteristics, mechanical characteristics and heat resistance and can be used, for example, as the functional belt of a copier and generates no dimensional change. |
