PURPOSE:To obtain a metal coated film good in reflectivity and excellent in heat resistance, weatherability and hygroscopic dimensional stability by forming a metal membrane on a film or sheet of an alicyclic polycarbonate resin constituted of a repeating unit represented by a specific formula and characterized by that the mol ratio of the repeating unit is a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A metal membrane is formed on a film or sheet composed of an alicyclic polycarbonate resin constituted of repeating units represented by formulae I-III and characterized in that the mol ratio (x) of the unit represented by the formula I is substantially equal to the sum mol ratio y+z of the mol ratio (y) of the unit represented by the formula II and the mol ratio (z) of the unit represented by the formula III and the mol ratio (y) of the unit represented by the formula II is 20-50mol%. In the formula I, n is 0,1 or 2 and, in the formula III, A is a 20C or less divalent saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group, a saturated alicyclic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group. |
