PURPOSE:To provide a word processor capable of easily inputting special symbols and numerals which are not assigned to the keys. CONSTITUTION:When a key on a keyboard 110 for which a symbol or numeral is assigned is depressed and a conversion key is further operated, the symbol or numeral assigned to the operated key is displayed as undetermined data on a display means 120. All the data in the same group with the undetermined data are read out of a storage means 130 and displayed as a selected data group on the display means 120. Then when keys for cursor movement are operated, a cursor is moved to desired data in the selected data group displayed on the display means 120. A determination key is depressed at the position to determine the desired data as input data and the desired data are displayed on the display means 120 by substituting for the undetermined data. |
