PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic powder-containing actinic energy ray curing type ink, good in storage stability even by preblending metallic powder in the ink and capable of maintaining a hue and brightness in the initial printing for a long period even after the printing. CONSTITUTION:The metallic powder-containing actinic energy ray curing type ink is obtained by including a low-molecular weight acylated cellulose having residual hydroxyl groups and no film-forming property in an ultraviolet curing type ink containing metallic powder such as copper or aluminum powder. One example of the preferred acylated cellulose is cellulose acetate butyrate having 2.0% acetyl group content, 53% butyryl group content, 1.5% hydroxyl group content, 16000 molecular weight and 0.01sec viscosity measured according to the ASTM D817.
