PURPOSE:To provide a remote controller that can be applied to every kind of equipment with a simple operation by effectively using the characteristic of a learning type remote controller and that of a pre-programming remote controller. CONSTITUTION:Remote control data is read in a multifunctional remote controller 50 by depressing an arbitrary key 21 on an individual remote controller 20. Memory contents in the ROM 65 of the multifunctional remote controller 50 is compared with the signal format of the read in remote controller 20 to decide, and the object machine kind of an object manufacturer is retrieved. Only the signal format out of retrieved remote control data is stored in the memory area for each function of a RAM 64 as a pointer. After that, the remote operation of equipment 40 to be controlled is performed by reading out object remote control data when operating the key 66 for each function of the multifunctional remote controller 50. |
