<p>PURPOSE:To reduce cost at the time of small-quantity production, in the title optically readable medium, by selectively transferring the predetermined pattern part of one transfer foil having a plurality of mutually different diffraction grating patterns formed thereon to a recording part corresponding to discrimination data content to be recorded to produce a data recording part. CONSTITUTION:The data recording part 2 consisting of a plurality of diffraction gratings of a data recording medium is constituted of unit data recording parts 2A-2E. The directions of the diffraction gratings 2B-2D are mutually set to an angle of 45 deg. and the recording parts 2A, 2E are set to the same kind. Therefore, four kinds of the diffraction gratings (2A=2E, 2B-2D) are used. The data recording part 2 is produced by a method wherein a transfer foil 11 having four kinds of diffraction grating patterns formed thereto is provided to a foil feed means 12 under tension and the data recording medium 1 is set on a data recording medium feed stand 13 and the foil feed means 12 and the data recording medium feed stand 13 are controlled to match the data recording part 2 with the pattern part of the foil 11 to perform transfer by a transfer device 14.</p> |
