<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect disconnected strand positively without employing general purpose sensor in self-traveling inspection robot. CONSTITUTION:An electrode face electrically contacting with a disconnected strand 2a is formed on a traveling body 12 while being connected through a battery with an overhead wire 2, and a conduction detecting circuit 13 comprising the traveling body 12 detects current flowing upon contact of the disconnected strand 2a and the electrode face. No current flows through the conduction detecting circuit 13 when the traveling body 12 travels on a normal overhead wire 2 but when the traveling body travels on an overhead wire having disconnected strand 2a and the electrode face comes into contact therewith, current flows through the conduction detecting circuit 13 and the disconnected strand 2a is detected.</p> |
