PURPOSE:To suppress failure in pick-up operation by executing overcurrent interrupting function in parallel with pick-up operation. CONSTITUTION:An inverter detects voltage induced in an free running PM motor (S1), decides the phase (S2), outputs the phase thus decided and executes pick-up operation of a PM motor (S3), thus performing pick-up operation (S5). A decision is made whether the current flowing into the PM motor at the time of pick-up operation is an overcurrent (about 150%) (S4), pick-up operation is interrupted if an overcurrent flows (S6), and until a predetermined try times N is reached after elapse of 100msec (S7), overcurrent interrupting retry function A is executed in parallel and retried by predetermined times until the current at the time of pick-up operation drops below an overcurrent level (about 150% of rated value) thus executing pick-up operation positively. |
