PURPOSE:To prevent an entire virtual machine system from being stopped by suppressing a range affected by an instruction retry disable fault generated at a processor at a minimum. CONSTITUTION:When the instruction retry disable fault is generated at a first processor (fault system real computer) 11, a fault mode diagnosing means 21 samples the operation mode of the first processor 11 generating the fault. When the fault is generated while operating the virtual machine system, a fault informing means 311 of an HOS(host operating system) 31 downs a virtual machine monitor(VMM) 41 based on the operation mode sampled by the fault mode diagnosing means 21 when the VMM 41 is under operating. When a GOS(guest operating system) is under operating, it is informed of the VMM 41. A virtual machine fault processing means 411 of the VMM 41 receiving the information informs the fault of the GOS which is under operating when the fault is generated. |
