PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for corona discharge, to facilitate the electrostatic transfer of a toner image to a sheet of plain paper, to form a satisfactorily recorded image on various recording paper, and to obtain a clear multicolor recorded image free of unclear color tone by the use of color toner. CONSTITUTION:Two-component developer composed of conductive magnetic carrier and insulating magnetic toner is employed and magnetic powder in the insulating magnetic toner is transparent or achromatic in an image forming device provided with a photosensitive body 2 formed by laminating a translucent conductive layer 4 and a photoconductive layer 5 in order on the surface of a translucent support 3, a development means 8 disposed on the side of the photoconductive layer 5 of the photosensitive body 2, a means for applying a development bias voltage 15 between the sleeve 12 of the development means 8 and the translucent conductive layer 4, and an exposure means 7 for emitting light from the side of the translucent support 3 in order to form an image on the photosensitive body 2 by the use of developer. |
