摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain good images which have a large opening rate and with which the potentials of pixel electrodes do not change in spite of a change in the potentials of wirings. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display device is constituted by having a pair of transparent substrates and a liquid crystal sealed between these substrates and providing the surface of the one transparent substrate with the transparent pixel electrodes 111 disposed in a matrix form, thin-film transistors (TFTs) 115 connected to the pixel electrodes 111, gate wirings 102 connected to the source electrodes of the TFTs 115 and signal wirings 106 connected to the source electrodes of the TFTs 115. Opaque conductive films 109 are provided via insulating films between the wiring layers existing on the pixel electrode 111 side and the pixel electrodes 111 among the gate wiring 102 layers or signal wirings 106 layers of the above-mentioned device. The conductive films 109 spread to the pixel electrodes 111 or the regions exclusive of a part of the pixel electrodes 111 and a certain fixed potential is impressed to the conductive films 109.</p>
